Seaview Bed and Breakfast, Isle of Mull

Seaview bed and breakfast is in a super central location for visiting Mull, Iona and Staffa in Fionnphort village on the Ross of Mull, Isle of Mull. Mull is the second largest island in Inner Hebrides island group.(second to Skye.)  The island is located just off the west coast of Scotland in the Scottish council area of Argyll and Bute, Scotland, UK. Oban on the mainland is the nearest main ferry port and has a railhead from Glasgow.

Fionnphort Beach, Ross of Mull

Oban is 2.5 hours from Glasgow airport. Seaview is one hours drive on the A849 (single track road)  from the Mull ferry terminal at Craignure. There is also a service bus route to Fionnphort at this location. The ferry crossing from Oban to Craignure takes approximately 50 minutes and carries passengers and cars. Pre booking for cars is required. reserve a ferry car space at Calmac ferries

There are 2 other smaller ferries to Mull from Lochaline to Fishnish and Kilchoan to Tobermory. also operated by Calmac ferries, link above. All info click rail and bus above.

Location area 

Mull is the 4th largest island in Scotland and Great Britain, an area covering 338 square miles with 300 miles of spectacular, rugged coastline interspersed with wonderful white sand beaches and coves. The Ross of Mull and Iona on the south of Mull where Seaview is located has 28 beaches alone and has the warmer sea airs of the gulf stream passing through.

The islands population as of 2020 was 3000. These numbers are augmented in summer by the numerous tourists who visit this scenic island. Fionnphort's location near to Iona and Staffa allows it to be a busy scenic port for tourist trips to various islands such as Iona, Staffa and the Treshnish Isles.
